The Shops at Brickell City Centre’s highly anticipated H&M store will open this month. Swire Properties, the Hong Kongbased developer behind the upscale Miami mall at 701 S. Miami Ave., announced the Swedish clothing retailer will welcome shoppers on Oct. 17. A spokeswoman for the brand said the upcoming location is 26,000 square feet and spans two levels—making it one of the largest H&M stores in the Magic City.
The store, which is located at Suite 281C, will carry merchandise for men, women and children. Swire made news in February when the firm announced H&M leased its final anchor space.

The Wharf Fort Lauderdale

The Wharf Fort Lauderdale will reopen on Oct. 11. The open-air entertainment venue closed last month for renovations. It makes its return at 20 W. Las Olas Blvd. with new bars, culinary offerings and decor.
Miami-based Breakwater Hospitality Group owns and operates The Wharf.
Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar

Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar will launch its 16th South Florida location in Midtown Miami. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be hosted on Oct. 8. for the 2,000-square-foot cafe at 3275 N.E. 1st Ave. Crema serves all-day breakfast in addition to lunch, dinner and baked goods. The cafe was founded by Ioannis Sotiropoulos and Efthymios Paliouras, two Miami restaurateurs who own and run SP Hospitality Group.
Mostaza
Mostaza, an Argentinian burger concept, will open its first U.S. location in Wynwood, according to FA Commercial, a Miami-based commercial real estate agency led by broker Fabio Faerman. The brand leased a 1,300-square-foot space at 2531 N.W. 2nd Ave. In an Oct. 2 announcement, FA Commercial stated Mostaza has more than 200 restaurants in South America.
B&D Trap BBQ

B&D Trap BBQ, a Texas-inspired restaurant concept from Fort Lauderdale, opened a Doral outpost on Oct. 1 at the Shoma Bazaar food hall, which is located at 9420 N.W. 41st St. The barbecue concept was cofounded by local restaurateurs Tatum Martin and Kevin Rodriguez.
Stage Kitchen & Bar

Jupiter-based Anna Woodman Interior Design, the firm handling design for Stage Kitchen & Bar in Boca Raton’s Restaurant Row, announced the eatery is expected to open in early 2025. The indooroutdoor venue will be located at 5377 Town Center Road, Suite 200. It will span 5,974 square feet and have space for 189 patrons. Stage Kitchen & Bar was founded by Chef Pushkar Marathe and partnerAndy Dugard. They opened their first location in 2020 in Palm Beach Gardens
El Cielo by Casa Vigil

Casa Vigil, an Argentinan winery restaurant that joined Miami’s Upper Buena Vista neighborhood in January, has now introduced a speakeasy concept to its rooftop. The bar, named El Cielo, offers craft cocktails, sharable plates and DJ programming. Casa Vigil Miami is located at 5020 N.E. 2nd Ave. The original Casa Vigil in Mendoza, Argentina, earned a Michelin star in 2015 and maintains the honor.
Mona Lisa
Mona Lisa, a new Asian-Mediterranean restaurant and lounge in Miami Beach, opened on Sept. 19. Located at 739 Washington Ave., the clubstaurant offers A5 Grade Wagyu, sticky short rib, crispy lobster, and limited-edition bottles of Clase Azul. Chef Benjamin Goldman, a veteran of Planta and 1 Hotels, leads the kitchen. Mona Lisa operates Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.
Old Lisbon

Old Lisbon, an iconic Portuguese restaurant that has operated in Miami for three decades, expanded to Aventura in mid-September. The 2,500-square-foot restaurant includes a six-seat bar, 64-seat indoor dining room and 28-seat outdoor patio. Old Lisbon was founded by Carlos Silva. It’s now led by his son, Carlos Silva Jr. The brand has two other locations in South Miami and east of Coral Gables.
Freddo

Argentinian gelato franchise Freddo leased its 17th U.S. location in Doral, according to FA Commercial. The international dessert chain will open the 534-square-foot shop at Miami International Mall, 1455 N.W. 107th Ave. Real estate investment trust Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) is the landlord.
