Urban Winery Makes Its Mark

winery-designOwners Jill Ramsier and David Forrester had a vision – to create a winery and wine tasting environment in Orlando that would transport wine to markets and ultimately the consumer in an environmentally friendly way.  Thus, Quantum Leap Winery was born.  The project was very special in that the 17,000 SF warehouse space would not only hold its very own winery, but its own wine tasting room and a VIP area within the winery itself for special events.  The Quantum Leap Winery model was to search for good quality, sustainably grown wine, wherever it is around the world but to transport it in large vessels to the Orlando winery. The facility itself stores, finishes, blends, and packages the wine. The wine tasting room features a large tasting bar with a bar face created from rich woods and a heavy cement-look top.  Cork floors add not only to the atmosphere, but help with sound absorption as well.  Interesting wine displays and colorful art add a unique touch, and another room beyond the tasting room with walls created from standing wine barrels can house special venues and private parties.  From this space guests can view the large winery filled with industrial equipment and stainless steel tanks.  For more on this impressive winery, go to www.quantumleapwinery.com.
